BiotroNiS at “Lange Nacht der Wissenschaften”

On June 20, 2025, we proudly presented BiotroNis at TUD, IPF and HTWD for the very first time at one of the most attractive events in Saxony: “Lange Nacht der Wissenschaften”. It is Dresden’s largest science outreach event, connecting people across all age groups, genders, professions and backgrounds with science.

On this night, Dresden's universities, scientific research institutions and technology and science-related companies welcome the public into their buildings, laboratories, lecture halls and archives. Visitors gain insight into science and technology by means of participating in lectures, experiments, guided tours, exhibitions and films.

It was indeed an honour to get into close contact with a wide range of audiences and help them understand how electronics can merge with living systems. Our aim was to demonstrate the reconciliation of nature with technology, from biosensors to neurointerfaces. During the course of this event, BiotroNis interested the audience with facts and predictions regarding the future of medicine and bioelectronics and to make everything all the more interesting, hands-on demonstrations were provided and live experiments were carried out.
